ISO-principles as a standard for DeliCare
Daily decisions must be taken well. Especially the empoyees must be aware that little mistakes can have bigger impacts by means of increasing costs or loss of quality or quantity. DeliSense wants to introdue ISO-acting on farms in a social way, by training and communication. ISO starts with the analysis of processes on the farm. Searching the risks in every process and looking for improvements. DeliSense have made a framework for vegetable growers to introduce ISO, optimised together with their customers. So we are able to introduce ISO in a practical way, also according to the EUREPGAP compliance criteria. The second step is the implementation of ISO with our DeliSigns-concept. The real certification for ISO is the final step. Because of the costs and extra administration and inspections, most of our customers leave this step behind. The customers do not ask for an ISO-certificate; EUREPGAP is of course a must as a global produce standard. Introduction of the ISO-principles with their advantages is the most important for our customers.
